In honor of the birth anniversaries of the emperors of the bird world, Salim Ali and Maruti Chitampalli, Bird Week was celebrated from November 5th to 12th with the collaboration of Amulya Hands of Hope Foundation and the Forest Department.
Bird Week is celebrated nationwide from November 5th to 12th in commemoration of the birth anniversaries of renowned ornithologists Salim Ali and Maruti Chitampalli. In line with this, the Amulya Hands of Hope Foundation, along with the Forest Department, organized Bird Week in Moharli Buffer from November 5th to 8th.
A birdwatching event was held in the lake area of the Moharli forest range from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM.
During the three-day birdwatching event, a total of 140 different bird species like were observed within the Moharli forest range.

The event was graced by the presence of Bird enthusiasts Mohammad Suleman Baig, Vipul Dhawale, Shahbaaz Sheikh, Shubham Atram, Sahil Baig, Sumedh Waghmare, and the Forest Staff of the Moharli (Buffer) Forest Range.
