Talodhi Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Honors for SWAB Organization and Local Achievers

On behalf of the village panchayat, Talodhi honored the 78th Independence Day with great fervor, in addition to the nation as a whole.
Honoring the SWAB organization’s tireless work in the fields of society and the environment was one of the year’s highlights. The SWAB team is well known for their commitment to planting trees and collecting plastic waste from a variety of sites, including as rivers, lakes, tourist destinations, and houses of worship. They also help governmental and non-governmental organizations plant trees and provide support during situations including wildlife, floods, car crashes, and forest emergencies.


One of the year’s highlights was honoring the persistent efforts of the SWAB organization in the social and environmental domains. The SWAB team is renowned for their commitment to planting trees, gathering plastic waste from a variety of locations, including lakes, rivers, tourist attractions, and places of worship. They also assist governmental and non-governmental organizations in planting trees and offer assistance in times of need for wildlife emergencies, floods, road accidents, and forest incidents.


The event also included the honoring of Santosh Nannawar, teacher at the local school, Khushalji Madankar, teacher at the Zilla Parishad, and Professor Bulbule from Mahatma Phule College. Additionally, Kumari Sanjana Dilip Madankar, a student from Mahatma Phule College who achieved an 86.50% score in the science branch, was also recognized.
The president of SWAB, Yash Kayarkar, expressed that the recognition received for the organization’s selfless work was truly inspiring and thanked the Talodhi Balapur Village Panchayat for the honor.
The main flag hoisting was conducted by Rohan Kumar Sanjana Dilip Madankar. The event was attended by Sarpanch Kalpana Maske, Vice-Sarpanch Rajesh Ghie, and all panchayat members including Sudhakar Kamadi, Narendra Khobragrade, Jivesh Sayam, Sonu Nandanwar, and a large number of students, parents, and village panchayat staff.
