Cleanliness Drive Organized in Bhamdeli Village to Mark Wildlife Week

As part of the Wildlife Week celebrations, a cleanliness drive was organized in Bhamdeli village, falling under the Moharli range of the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve. The initiative was led by Deputy Director (Core) of Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Mr. Yellu Reddy, with active participation from tourist guides, gypsy drivers/owners, and the local community.

The drive aimed at promoting environmental awareness and maintaining the pristine beauty of the region. Citizens of Bhamdeli village, supported by forest officers, worked together to clean up the entire village area. Leading the efforts were Moharli Range Officer (Core), Mr. Gond, Round Officer Vilas Soyam, Mr. Ghabargunde, and Forest Guard Sneha Mahajan, Marskole and Moharli Sarpanch Sau. Sunita Katkar.

Additionally, the tourist guides and gypsy drivers/owners of the area played a significant role, with Project Manager Charul Parihar also contributing to the success of the event. The drive highlighted the importance of community participation in conserving natural spaces and protecting the environment, especially in and around vital wildlife habitats like the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve.
The cleanliness drive was part of a broader initiative to engage locals in conservation efforts, fostering a sense of responsibility for preserving the ecological balance of the region.
