Jungle Belles Distributes Clothing to the Needy in Buffer Zones of Tadoba, Empowering Women

Mohammad Suleman Baig : Under the Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve, Jungle Belles has distributed clothing to economically deprived residents in the Udiya Tola of Devada village, falling within the buffer zone. Based in Pune, this organization has been assisting the people of the Tadoba region, particularly women, for several years. The initiative, initiated by Hemangi Vartak and Aarti Karve of Jungle Belles, has received support from wildlife enthusiast Anuj Khare.

 

The organization provided T-shirts, trousers, sarees, children’s clothing, and sweaters to the economically disadvantaged people of Udiya Tola in Devada village, falling under the Moharli forest area. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with Tadoba’s first female guide, Shahnaz Baig, and Police Patil Ramkrushna Sakharkar from Moharli village. Assistance was also provided by  Madhuri Anand Kumare, Sheetal Gangadhar Wadhai, and Kailash Meshram.
