Chandrapur : On the 5th of November 2023, as part of Bird Week (5th Nov to 12th Nov), a bicycle safari was organized to observe birds.
This safari began at Junona Gate and went through Junona village, Junona Lake, and Moharli Lake areas for bird watching. At the start of Bird Week, a Grey-Headed Fish Eagle caught a large fish and carried it to a tree, accompanied by its Bird watcher Mr. Frank Strohband, and mrs Dagmar Mensch from Germany. Subsequently, many birds were spotted at the bird feeding site.
During this time, the German bird enthusiast, Tadoba’s bird enthusiast Mohammad Suleman Baig, Safari guide Pravin Garat and others were present.
