Bird flu has been confirmed in seven states of the country – Kerala, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Delhi are awaiting the investigation report of premature death of birds. The Union Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry and Dairy gave this information on Saturday.
Ban on import of live birds in Delhi, Ghazipur poultry market will remain closed for 10 days
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said on Saturday that in view of the fear of bird flu, the import of live birds has been banned in the national capital and Ghazipur poultry market will remain closed for the next 10 days.
